A large scale patinated and gilt bronze mantel clock, dating to the 1880s and signed by maker Deniere & Cailleaux, sold for $28,125 at a Decorative Arts Auction held July 28 by John Moran Auctioneers in Pasadena, Calif. Also, an oil on canvas depiction of campers in a verdant valley landscape by Antanas Zemaitis (Lithuanian, 1876-1966) realized $15,990; and a circa 1919 Rene Lalique “Amber de Siam” perfume bottle, later made by Maison Lalique as the “Gros Fruits” bottle, made $7,995. Prices include a 20 percent buyer’s premium.
