A 1957 Christian Dior Limited Edition perfume bottle in the shape of a dog, signed “Tien Dior” (Dior’s nickname), sold for $66,000 in an auction held April 30-May 3 at the 27th annual International Perfume Bottle Association’s (IPBA) 27th annual convention in Spartanburg, S.C. Also, a 1920s R. Lalique Coty Cyclamen perfume bottle rose to $19,200; a 1920s J. Viard Colmy perfume bottle (Cíest un Secret) hit $18,000; and a 1911 R. Lalique L.T. Piver Scarabee powder box found a new owner for $16,800. Prices include a 20 percent buyer’s premium.
