A painting by N. C. Wyeth titled However, At Last I Taught Him to Call Me By My Name Very Familiarly, an animated painting that was used as the cover illustration for Daniel Defoe’s classic book Robinson Crusoe, sold for $353,000 at an American Art & Pennsylvania Impressionists Auction held June 7 by Freeman’s in Philadelphia. Also, Robert Spencer’s The Little Village made $341,000; Edward Willis Redfield’s The Road to Centre Bridge brought $233,000; and Daniel Garber’s Autumnal Shadows rose to $209,000. Prices include a 20 percent buyer’s premium.
