A Sand Knit sweater (size 46 green, gold and white), worn by Green Bay Packers coaching legend Vince Lombardi sold for $17,250 at an auction held Sept. 10 by Philip Weiss Auctions in Lynbrook, N.Y. Also, three original Peanuts comic strips from the 1960s and ’70s by Charles Schulz hammered for $16,675, $16,100 and $17,250; a Disney production cel from the 1938 film Brave Little Tailor gaveled for $7,750; and an archive of seven acrylic paintings by Chesley Bonestell (1888-1986) sold for a total of $135,000. Prices include a 15 percent buyer’s premium.
