Miami Antiques + Art + Design Show

The 2nd Annual Miami Antiques + Art + Design Show returns to the Miami Airport Convention Center (MACC) on February 3-5, 2017, the first major show of the South Florida winter antiques season. It will feature 200 national and international exhibitors offering a broad range of rare antique furniture, decorative and fine arts including silver, paintings, bronzes, porcelain, antique and estate jewelry, Asian antiques, pottery, rare books, lighting, crystal, prints, rugs, textiles, vintage clothing and accessories representing all design movements from ancient to 20th century modern.
Included among the many returning highly-regarded dealers are Butler and Butler of Sarasota FL, Philip Chasen Antiques of Oyster Bay NY, Greenwald Antiques of Cleveland OH, Joyce Groussman Fine Jewelry of Scottsdale AZ, Hadassa Antiques of New York NY, Jireh Antiques of Coral Gables FL, Stephen Kalms Antiques of London UK, and Toulouse Gallery of Los Angeles CA. A few of the new dealers to this year’s show are Antique Enamel Company of London UK, D.K. Bressler of New York NY, Alfred Cali of Cleveland OH, Bruce Horton Antiques of Adamstown PA, Alice Kwartler Antiques of New York NY, Ophir Gallery of Englewood NJ, and Silk Road Modern + Contemporary Rugs of Beverly Hills CA.
After a 3-year hiatus from the Miami market, veteran show organizer Dolphin Promotions was pleased to launch the new Miami Antiques + Art + Design Show in 2016. This year’s show will be considerably larger since it falls the weekend before the Original Miami Beach Antiques Show which is temporarily moving to the Miami-Dade Fairgrounds due to construction at the Miami Beach Convention Center, allowing both dealers and collectors from around the world to attend both events.
Dolphin Promotions organized the Miami National Antiques Show & Sale at the same venue for over 35 years before selling to long time industry ally and colleague U.S. Antique Shows four years ago. U.S. Antique Shows announced last year the cancellation of their event at MACC. Subsequently, many show dealers contacted Rosemary Krieger, President of Dolphin Promotions, requesting that she bring the popular and long-running show back to MACC.
Over the past several years, MAAC has undergone a $20 million renovation which includes new lighting, A/C, escalators, elevators, restrooms, flooring, and a completely new entrance lobby. The adjacent Doubletree Miami Airport Hotel has also received extensive improvements and offers antique show exhibitors and attendees a special discounted rate and convenience of walking to the show. Alternatively, scheduled shuttle bus service will transport dealers and collectors who would prefer to stay in Miami Beach.
The show hours are Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Noon to 5 p.m. Weekend admission is $15; good for return entry all 3 days. The Miami Airport Convention Center (MACC) – adjacent to the Doubletree Miami Airport Hotel and Miami International Merchandise Mart – is located at 711 NW 72nd Avenue, Miami 33126, just off the 836 (Dolphin) Expressway at Milam Dairy Road/NW 72nd Avenue exit.
