An Abbey Road Studios recording console, the very one used by Pink Floyd when they recorded the rock album Dark Side of the Moon, sold for $1.8 million at a Rock Memorabilia Sale held March 27th by Bonhams in New York City. Also, a Bernie Worell costume clavinet gaveled for $20,000; a pair of letters written by the late rap artist Tupac Shakur sold as one lot for $11,875; and a costume worn by the rapper Eminem in the autobiographical movie 8 Mile reached $11,875. Prices include the buyer’s premium.
