An attributed Émile Gallé cameo glass table lamp sold for $8,000 at an auction conducted by Akiba Galleries in Dania Beach, FL. The lamp featured richly layered cameo glass decoration, a hallmark of Gallé’s celebrated Art Nouveau designs, with finely etched botanical motifs that exemplify the French master’s influence on late 19th- and early 20th-century decorative arts. Also, an Erté (Romain de Tirtoff, Russian/French, 1892–1990) bronze figural swivel mirror titled Joy of Life realized $1,000.
