Brunk Auctions will present its Fine American Paintings sale on September 23, beginning at 10:00 a.m. EST, as part of the firm’s American and Southern auction series. The sale draws together a distinguished roster of works spanning more than two centuries of American artistic achievement, from early portraiture and folk art to twentieth-century modernism and landscape painting.
Among the highlights are paintings by Maurice Brazil Prendergast, Edward Henry Potthast, and Granville Redmond, three artists whose works consistently attract strong collector interest in the American paintings market.
