Bonhams Returns to Grand Palais for Retromobile 2027
PARIS, France — September, 2026 —
Bonhams has announced its return to the Grand Palais in Paris for “La Vente de Paris,” a collector car auction scheduled for February 5, 2027, in conjunction with the Salon Retromobile. The storied venue on avenue Winston Churchill will once again serve as the backdrop for one of Europe’s most anticipated classic automobile sales, following Bonhams’ 2026 Paris auction, which was held at the historic Polo de Paris.
Alongside the automobiles offered at auction in the Grand Palais, Bonhams will display a curated selection of vehicles within the Retromobile show itself, giving collectors and enthusiasts additional opportunities to view significant cars before they cross the block. Bonhams Europe will further complement the automotive offerings with a selection of fine art and luxury objects presented as part of “La Vente de Paris.”
Michael Squire, European Director of the Bonhams Motoring department, described the return to the Grand Palais as a natural fit for the caliber of cars the house intends to present. He noted that Retromobile stands as one of the essential gatherings for European collectors of historic automobiles, and that the Grand Palais provides an exceptional setting for the exceptional motorcars Bonhams will offer on February 5.
With specialist teams based in London, Paris, Los Angeles, New York, Brussels, and beyond, Bonhams conducts 17 motoring, motorcycle, and automobilia sales annually and maintains a consistent presence at major international events including the Goodwood festivals, Laguna Seca, and the Zoute Grand Prix.
