An albumen photograph of Western legends “Wild Bill” Hickok, “Buffalo Bill” Cody and “Texas Jack” Omohundro, from Cody’s personal collection and documenting the birth of the Wild West Show, sold for $15,600 at a Summer American History Premier Auction held June 22^nd by Cowan’s Auctions in Cincinnati, Ohio. Also, an archive pertaining to the assassination of Abraham Lincoln from the collection of theater actor William J. Ferguson (1845-1930) realized $14,400. Prices include a 20 percent buyer’s premium.
