The MEWS at Brewster will be celebrating its 25th Season in business when it reopens May 1st, coinciding with Brewster In Bloom Weekend.
The MEWS originally opened 25 years ago in Harwich Port by four dealers and moved to Brewster (Cape Cod), MA 10 years later. Betsy Hewlett Lessig, as an original member, owns and operates the Brewster location. The MEWS has been known since Day 1 as a True Antiques Shop, and all dealers are members of the Cape Cod Antiques Dealers Association.
The MEWS is a seven dealer group shop, each has his/her own specialty and all dealers work. Our specialties are: Chocolate Moulds, Americana, Tin & Wireware, Folk Art, Country Furniture, Early Paint, Quality Smalls, Hand Tools, Textiles, European and American Art Glass, Early American Pattern Glass.
