The top lot of the sale was a copy of William ‘Bill’ Griffith Wilson’s landmark volume Alcoholics Anonymous: The Story of How More Than One Hundred Men Have Recovered from Alcoholism, which more than doubled its high pre-sale estimate to achieve $66,000. The result underscores the sustained interest among collectors in historically significant americana and social history imprints, particularly those tied to transformative cultural movements.
