Durfee girandole clock, $24,400, Cottone Auctions

A circa 1920 Walter H. Durfee girandole clock in a gilt and mahogany case sold for $23,400 at a Fine Art, Antiques & Clocks auction held September 25th by Cottone Auctions in Geneseo, NY.

Also, a rare Northern Renaissance devotional panel painting by Ambrosius Benson (circa 1495-1550), titled Saint Mary Magdalene, shot to $390,000; an oil on canvas by Alice Baber titled Green Around Green brought $170,000; and a Roycroft lamp table lit up the room for $7,564.
