A Jim Dandy Root Beer dispenser in like-new condition, descended in the family of a Buffalo, N.Y. pharmacist, sold for $35,650 at an auction held May 8-9 by Cottone Auctions in Geneseo, N.Y. Also, a collection of items pertaining to Civil War Union Capt. Watson W. Bush (1841-1927), including his uniform, a Remington & Sons revolver, a Spencer rifle, a brass sword and letters, went for $34,500; and an American walnut jeweler’s regulator clock, 9 feet 6 inches tall, with carved Victorian head and swag hit $16,675. Prices include a 15 percent buyer’s premium.
