Bat Masterson’s 1882 Colt .45 single-action Army revolver sold for $96,000 at auctions held July 30 and Aug. 2 by J. Levine Auction & Appraisal in Scottsdale, Ariz. Also, a signed 19th century carte de visite photograph of Abraham Lincoln went for $6,000; a Gauthier 14kt white gold 3.69-carat solitaire diamond and sapphire pendant hit $51,750; an oil painting by George Rodrigue (1944-2013), titled Moon is Out, rose to $27,000; and Dave McGary’s bronze sculpture titled Last Stand Hill finished at $24,000. Prices include a sliding-scale buyer’s premium.
