A Babe Ruth-signed baseball from circa 1942-1945 sold for $10,625 at a Gentlemen’s Collector auction held June 12-13 by Nye & Company Auctioneers in Bloomfield, NJ. Also, an Alexander Calder lithographic work in polychrome titled Couleurs enlaces dans le fil de fer fetched $2,813; a large-format Hal Foster original drawing of the Prince Valiant #1480 comic strip from June 20, 1965, made $10,000; and a 1975 Triking three-wheel sports car with two helmets brought $8,125
