A rare and unusual mosaic tabletop tile by Roy Lichtenstein (American, 1923-1997), made in 1950 and 14 ½ inches by 16 ¼ inches in a walnut frame, sold for $36,900 in an online Fine Art & Antiques auction held September 26th by Neue Auctions in Beachwood, Ohio. Also, a circa 1910 Roycroft Ali Baba bench featuring a plank seat realized $17,220; and a stunning 17th century English, Netherlands or Spanish School oil portrait of a Royal or Court Lady went for $14,760. Prices include a 23 percent buyer’s premium.
