The red Bruce Oldfield silk gown worn by Princess Diana for the world premiere of Hot Shots in 1991 sold for $571,500 at a Legends: Hollywood & Royalty auction held Sept. 6-8 by Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills, CA. Also, the Catherine Walker black and jade gown she wore to a gala event in Toronto, Canada in 1991 went for $571,500; and a Givenchy Couture pink evening dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s realized $444,500.
