A 19th century Tibetan gilt bronze deity, with base 50 1/2 inches tall, with Tempera paint to the flames and eyes, sold for $44,800 at an auction held October 1st by Akiba Galleries in Dania Beach, FL.
Also, a museum quality large Japanese silver fluted vase with gilt dragons, 21 inches tall, realized $21,760; a Japanese lacquered writing box with matching writing table went for $15,360; and a large and hand-engraved 22k gold pendant with vines and scrolling leaves hit $12,160.
