Antique sewing machine, The Foliage,
by D.W. Clarck, USA 1858. This is the
oldest sewing machine I have had in my
hands; it is of the year 1858, highly
sought after and valued. We are talking
about a museum sewing machine, a
small brass machine, 160 years old.
The foliage sewing machine originat-
ed with D. W. Clark. It has foliated
fixed and moving arms, a rectangular D. W. Clarke was shown as working
