$336,000, Heritage Auctions
A 1908-S Double Eagle U.S. gold coin, graded MS67 PCGS, one of the highest-grade examples from the lowest-mintage Saint-Gaudens with motto issue, sold for $336,000 at a U.S. Coins Signature Auction held Nov. 13-14 by Heritage Auctions in Dallas, TX. Also, an 1879 Flowing Hair Stella, graded PR66 NGC, achieved $216,000; a 1910-S Double Eagle, graded MS67 PCGS, brought an auction record $168,000; and 
a 1795 BD-1 Eagle, graded MS61 NGC, 
garnered $132,000.
