Also, an 8-inch Ives Palace still bank, circa 1885 by I.B. & Co., in original condition, garnered $6,900; a rare 15th century Italian carved ivory marriage casket box realized $5,750; a circa 1880 Charles Dare carved carousel horse hopped off for $7,130; and historical papers of Civil War General Philip Kearney went for $7,849. Prices include a 15 percent buyer’s premium.
