A set of six individual Air Jordan sneakers worn by Michael Jordan in the clinching games of his six career NBA Finals championships sold for $8 million at a sale of the Dynasty Collection held February 2nd by Sotheby’s in New York. It was a new global auction record for game-worn sneakers and the second-highest price achieved for Michael Jordan memorabilia, second only to Jordan’s 1998 NBA Finals Game 1 jersey that sold for $10 million at Sotheby’s in 2022.
