Creating a Coupon #
The easiest way to go about making a new coupon for your shop, is to go to the vendor dashboard and to go to the tab titled “Coupons”.
In this tab of the dashboard you will see the following screen:

Coupon Title #
This is the name of the coupon, what users will type in as the coupon “code” when purchasing a product in order to receive the discount you are offering.
Description #
The coupon description just details what the coupon is about, what are the rules of the coupon, why are you offering it and etc.
Discount Type #
This is a drop-down field that allows you to select between a percentage discount or a fixed amount discount.
Amount #
This is where you add the discount amount (either the percentage or the full dollar amount that the final price will be reduced by).
Usage Limit #
You can add a number here to limit the number of times a coupon can be used. Once the coupon has been used the number of times you’ve marked in this field, the coupon can no longer be used.
Expire Date #
This field allows you to set the coupons expiration date, after which the coupon will no longer be able to be used.
Exclude Sale Items #
This field controls whether your coupon applies to items that are already on sale, in other words, does the coupon value stack with existing discounted prices?
Minimum Amount #
Does your coupon require a certain amount of cart value before it can be used? If so, this is the field where you will add that dollar amount.
Product #
If your coupon only applies to specific products, this is where you will select those products.
Apply for New Products #
If you want this coupon to automatically apply to new products created through your store, you will want to mark this field.
Exclude Products #
You can add products to this field to prevent the coupon from being used for them.
Show on Store #
Selecting this field will show the coupon to all users.
