Convention August 2-3
PITTSBURGH, PA – This year’s
Pressing Iron and Trivet
Collectors of America Conven-
tion will take place at the
Pittsburgh Marriott
North in the Cranbury
Township, PA, August
2 and 3, 2019.
Members and guests
are expected to attend
from across the U.S. and
abroad. Educational
displays of irons from
around the world,
lectures, and presentations on a variety of topics are all on the schedule.
A boat trip is also scheduled for Friday morning.
For those arriving early, there will be an auction from the personal collec-
tion of the world-famous David & Sue Irons on Thursday, August 1 starting
at 10 a.m. and conducted by Hartzell’s Auction
Gallery and on liveauctioneers.com
The Pressing Iron and Trivet
Collectors of America (PITCA) was
founded July 22, 1984 in Owatonna,
MN for educational, fellowship, and
literary purposes to include per-
sonal and private collecting and
study by its membership.
Membership consists of over 300
families from 42 states and around
the world. Pressing News keeps everyone
up to date with information on irons, trivets,
