for Antiquarius
COS COB, CT, –
The Greenwich
Historical Society’s
beloved Antiquarius,
the tri-state region’s
premier holiday
event, will literally
roar this season as
event planner extra-
ordinaire and show
design chair Bronson
Van Wyck trans-
forms the Old Greenwich Civic Center into a veritable animal kingdom for the
Winter Antiques Show.
“Van Wyck’s ‘Animal Instincts’ theme will surely elevate the show to new
heights this year,” says Winter Antiques Show producer Frank Gaglio, Frank
Gaglio, Inc. “His reputation as one of the world’s hottest event planners, attracting
presidents, captains of industry and luxury brands as clients, gives us new energy
and a strong platform for drawing large crowds.”
Antiques Show attendees will appreciate the finest 19th and 20th century
American, European and Asian decorative furnishings, fine art and contem-
porary offerings that align with current collecting trends. Designer, estate and
vintage jewelry, sterling silver and luxurious casual and formal handbags
across a variety of price points, will continue to be an important mainstay of
the show.
Dealers such as Glen Leroux Antiques, Poirier Schweitzer of Quebec,
Canada; T.J. Antorino Antiques and Design; Jeff Cooley Gallery and
Saratoga Fine Art are just a few of the exhibitors who specialize in
personal accessories. Familiar favorites will include Nula Thanhauser
Antique, Vintage Purses and Accessories; Moylan-Smelkinson/The Spare
Room; James Levinson, Inc. fine estate jewelry; DK Farnum Estate Jewelry
and Kimerling Antiques.
