Simple Goods Country
Antique Show April 27
BERLIN, OH – There’s excitement in the air at the Simple Goods
show. Each year, a group of loyal and enthusiastic customers and new
shoppers arrive early to wait for the doors to open. The Spring Simple
Goods Early Country Antique Show is set for Saturday, April 27. This
is a one-day show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Heritage Community
Center located at 3558 US Route 62 in Berlin, Ohio.
Over 50 dealers specializing in early country antiques and primitive
goods, incoming dealers and customers alike are all happy to connect at
this show. To aid shoppers, programs are available at admissions to help
navigate the show. With each dealer listed and a floor plan map, this
helps everyone locate dealers along with wooden signs in each booth.
Porters are available to get your purchases to your vehicles. A dining area
with breakfast and lunch is available from Exclusively Yours Catering.
There is a varied selection of country antiques from smalls to furniture
shown in room-type settings. Items to be found at the show include
furniture consisting of bucket benches, settles, dry sinks, tables, chests,
shelves, apothecaries, candlestands, and many cupboards all in early
paint and original surface. You will see treen, early lighting, stoneware,
redware, baskets, brooms, books, horn beams and so much more. Look
for textiles, such as coverlets, quilts, homespun, samplers, and sewing
goods. It’s also fun to look for seasonal antiques, like beeskeps, flower
planters, and garden goods at the spring show. Just about anything you
would find in an old country home or barn can be seen at Simple
Goods. Every price level can be found at the show with many styles like
pioneer, pilgrim, colonial, and country.
After the long winter months, take a spring trip to the small country
town of Berlin, Ohio for a day at the Simple Goods show. Come for the
antiques; stay for the fun. For additional information, check out the
