Boston Toy Show Celebrates

40th Anniversary April 14

DEDHAM, MA – The Greater Boston Toy and
Collectable Show and Sale celebrates its 40th
anniversary season on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at
the Dedham Holiday Inn in Dedham, MA with
its Spring Ice Breaker Toy Show. It was in the
early 1980s that Professor Ed Devlin started the
Boston Toy Show. Well before the internet, the
Show was really one of the few opportunities for
collectors to purchase antique toys in New
England. Devlin immediately saw the demand and
booked the Dedham Holiday Inn for four shows
per year … the same venue where the show is held today.
“Our last Toy Show in December was one of our strongest in years,”
says Wes Pettengill, owner of the Big Toy Promotions. “With dealers
from 11 states, the quality of toys was amazing.”
Collectibles range from cast iron of the 1880s to Star Wars of the
1980s. Look for pressed steel, tin wind-ups, character toys, Superhero
figurines, automotive toys, model kits, and European tinplate. This is a
family fun event with lots of memories.

will be held Sunday,
April 14th from 9
a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at
the Dedham Holiday
Inn, exit 29a off Rte. 95. Early admission at 7 a.m. for $25, $8 for
