A Tiffany Studios parakeet and goldfish bowl ornamental tea screen sold for $324,500 at a sale of Treasures of Louis C. Tiffany from the Garden Museum, Japan, held Nov. 17 by Michaan’s Auctions in Alameda, Calif. Also, a Tiffany flower form vase with a broad undulating mouth and fine vein work hammered for $236,000; a Tiffany alamander chandelier of abundant yellow blossoms made $212,400; and a painting by Louis C. Tiffany, titled Beach Scene, Sea Bright, New Jersey changed hands for $165,200. Prices include a 17 percent buyer’s premium.
