The social platform for antiquers, collectors, and enthusiasts

Important Note to Readers & Subscribers

Dear Reader,
I would like to take this opportunity to share information about our plans for publishing a May issue of Journal of Antiques & Collectibles. At this time we have great editorial lined up for you (Signature Collectibles) but not enough revenue from advertising to publish it with so many cancelled shows, and flea market and shop closings.
Our plan as of today is to postpone the May issue into the month of May and electronically distribute a combined May/June issue on Monday, May 18th. We hope you understand that it is too soon to tell if we will be in a position to also publish this issue in print. We hope to publish our July Brimfield Show Guide in print providing the July shows are not cancelled, and to be back in print with the Journal of Antiques & Collectibles hopefully following a combined July/August digital issue out in late July. The following is a link to view our April issue so when the time comes you can see that we will continue to deliver the same quality editorial, layout and production of our magazine in digital form as we strive for in print. View our digital April Issue Here:
To keep you connected to the information you love we are also publishing a weekly e-newsletter, “Post-Press Update,” with auction news, cancelled shows, articles and columns from recent issues, and information on upcoming shows and auctions. We have also introduced a Throwback Thursday edition with articles culled from our archives. You can sign up to receive Post-Press Updates to your Inbox here – it’s free!

Thank you so much for your understanding during these difficult times. I know this uncertainty is something you are dealing with, as well, in other aspects of your life. If you are a paid subscriber, please know it is our intent to extend your circulation by the number of months we are unable to mail you a paper-based issue. In the meantime, please get more engaged with us on social media and by signing up to receive Post-Press Update. We may all be working from home but we are committed to once again arriving in your mailbox as soon as circumstances allow.
Remain healthy and hopeful, and please stay connected!
