Ken's Korner: Pete Rose signs for tourists at Caesar’s

Ken’s Korner: Pete Rose signs for tourists at Caesar’s – The Journal of Antiques and Collectibles – March 2006
For about two weeks out of every month, baseball’s all-time hits leader, Pete Rose, can be found inside a shopping mall at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, from 11:30 am to 6 pm, signing autographs. It’s how he makes his living, ever since the game of baseball banned him for life for betting on games while he was manager of the Cincinnati Reds. An autographed photo and handshake costs $50; a picture with Rose is $100; an autographed jersey will set you back $400. Rose is 64.
