A rare antique Stradivarius violin worth millions of dollars was turned in to a Swiss post office lost-and-found after an absent-minded musician left it on a train in Bern. The owner of the instrument lent it to a friend, who got off at a stop minus the violin and a frantic search ensued, complete with pleas by police for its safe return. An anonymous Good Samaritan brought it into the post office and dropped it off in blissful anonymity. Only around 600 violins by the Italian master craftsman Antonio Stradivari are still in existence.
