A mint in the box Belgian Browning Superposed 20-gauge over/under shotgun sold for $27,600 at an Antique & Vintage Firearms Auction held July 24-25 by Morphy Auctions in Denver, Pa. Also, a Winchester Pope custom high-wall single-shot rifle, Serial No. 17, rang out at $14,200; a Belgian Browning Superposed 28-gauge coin-silver-finish over/under shotgun with shipping box hit the mark for $13,200; and a Tiffany silver hilt sword presented to Union Civil War Capt. George Van Beak rose to $12,000. Prices include a 20 percent buyer’s premium.
