A Jupiter Robot in the original box and retaining its original sky blue plastic remote control sold for $36,000 at a Toy Auction held May 30-31 by Morphy Auctions in Denver, Pa. Also, a Tippco Santa Car with original Christmas feather tree cargo soared to $30,000; a Space Cycle in the original box with Japanese writing fetched $21,000; a Distler No. 85 racer with driver and “balloon” tires marked “Dunlop Cord” roared away for $21,000; and a Linemar Popeye and Olive Oyl tank with original box made $16,800. Prices include a 20 percent buyer’s premium.
