When the sale of Pixar Animation Studios to Walt Disney (for a reported $7.4 billion) becomes final, it will mean the end of one of the most collectible stock certificates around. Many collectors purchase one share of Pixar (it was trading recently for around $65) just for the certificate, showing “[amazon_link id=”B0030IIZ4M” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Toy Story[/amazon_link]” stars Woody and Buzz Lightyear. But once the deal is finalized (and it may already be a done deal by the time you read this), Pixar stock will no longer exist. But hey — there’s always eBay!
