Fall Antiques at Rhinebeck Premieres October 10 & 11

Rhinebeck, NY: The first Fall Antiques at Rhinebeck Show under the management of Barn Star Productions will premiere this coming October 10 & 11, Columbus Day Weekend at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, New York.
Rhinebeck Show 2015 100 (2) The Rhinebeck shows have been running for over 36 years and are recognized as one of the Rhinebeck Show 2015 161 (2) Hudson Valley’s most coveted art and antiques attractions with casual and serious collectors attending from across the country.
Over 125 exhibitors in American and Continental antiques, fine and folk art, precious and costume jewelry, architectural design, garden decorations, Oriental rugs and textiles, art glass and pottery, decorative arts, mid century modern, prints and maps, toys, dolls, holiday ornaments, travel and food posters, industrial arts and so much more will be displayed in attractive, idea inspiring settings for a full day of fun and collecting adventure.

Two Special Events are scheduled for the weekend and are free to show attendees.
First, “The 5 Minute Expert” will take place on Saturday afternoon from1pm till 3pm in Gallery “D” (opposite show office) where six exhibitors with expertise in a specific field will “show and tell” one or two objects sharing secrets and tips making you a better and more savvy buyer!
Second, join us for a very special presentation by Velya Jancz-Urban, author of Acquiescence., entitled “The Not-So-Good-Life of The Colonial Goodwife”. Discover what life was really like for New England’s colonial women because we’ve always been curious to know. This visual power point presentation will be followed by a book signing by the author. (Approximately 45 minutes and limited seating so please attend early in Gallery “D” across from our show office

There will be a food court available, free parking, complimentary color magazines and newspapers on antiques with convenient handicap accessibility. (Sorry, no pets allowed on fairgrounds.)
The Dutchess County Fairgrounds are located at 6550 Spring Brook Ave. (Route 9), Rhinebeck, NY 12572. Show hours are Saturday, 10am till 5pm and Sunday, 11am till 4pm. Admission is $10 per person and free re-admission all weekend with return pass.
