Rhinebeck, NY, The second annual Newtown Antiques Market will be held on Saturday, June 27 on the grounds of the beautiful Fairfield Hills Campus, Newtown, Connecticut.
This one day, festive, outdoor show and sale benefits the Newtown Historical Society and their mission preserving historic structures, mounting noteworthy exhibits and promoting local history.
Comments show manager, Frank Gaglio of Barn Star Productions, “We are thrilled to bring back this important fundraiser for the Society that debuted to over 900 attendees last June. Newtown is conveniently located right off route 84 and easily accessible from New York City, Westchester County, New Jersey and southern New England. Come join us for a day of discovery and fun”.
Adding to the festivities will be the Newtown Hook and Ladder Company #1serving up delicious fare and beverages with all profits going to their Firemen’s Fund. Also joining in the activities will be the Newtown Lions Club who will offer a vintage Mustang up for raffle.
Exhibitors will be coming from several states presenting displays of period and vintage furniture, fine and costume jewelry, garden decorations, glass, fine and folk art, pottery, wrought iron, prints, Oriental rugs, and so much more.
The show will be held rain or shine on the grounds of the Fairfield Hills Campus Complex, 3 Primrose Street, Newtown, CT. Parking is free and the show is on grass manageable for most handicap visitors. Admission / donation is $8 per person and the show phone is (914) 474-8552.
