An etching drawn by the Dutch master Rembrandt van Rijn (not the one shown), worth an estimated $8,600, has gone missing in the Norwegian postal system. The etching, done around 1658 and titled Liven Willemsz, van Coppenol, Writing Master, had been purchased by the Soli Brug Gallery, located south of Oslo, but to save shipping costs they had the seller ship it regular mail – and without insurance or tracking! A gallery official said he was notified to come pick up the package, but when he got to the post office there was no package.
