Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Eight years ago, Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling was a World Series hero, a key piece in the BoSox drive to its first world championship in nearly a century. He pitched through pain and the photo of his blood-stained sock became one of the most iconic sports images of the decade. But now, Schilling may have to sell that very sock, plus other personal memorabilia, in order to cover loans he guaranteed to his failed video game company, 38 Studios, which filed for bankruptcy in June.
