A mostly 1922-1925-era, two-volume spiritualism scrapbook signed, kept and annotated by Harry Houdini sold for $66,000 at a Magic Memorabilia Auction held April 28th by Potter & Potter Auctions in Chicago, Ill. Also, Houdini manuscripts and an archive chronicling Elliot Sanford’s year with the Houdini family and full of unpublished data and first-person accounts rose to $48,000; and a The Jail Breaker and Dextrous Handcuff King Houdini poster hammered for $7,200. Prices include a 20 percent buyer’s premium.
