A photograph signed by four Nobel Peace Prize Laureates sold for $125,000 at an auction to benefit The Carter Center (in Atlanta, Ga.), held June 24-28 in Vail, Colo. Also, a fly fishing trip with President and Mrs. Carter, at Brigadoon Lodge, hammered for $160,000; a pair of original paintings by Jerome Lawrence went for $100,000 and $57,000; guitars signed by Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones brought $65,000 each; and an autographed photo of the 1980 “Miracle on Ice” U.S. hockey team rose to $57,500. Prices are hammer; there was no buyer’s premium.
