A polychrome glazed and knife-engraved pottery pichet a glace (or ice pitcher), designed by Pablo Picasso for Madoura, sold for $36,000 at a Decorative Auction held April 28 by John Moran Auctioneers in Pasadena, Calif. Also, a newly restored  Swiss singing bird box with clock garnered $14,400; one of three portraits in the auction by Puerto Rican artist Angel Botello (1913-1986) went for $10,800; and a petite Woman With Flowered Hat (1963), by Richard H. Pettibone (Am., b. 1938), rose to $9,412. Prices include a 20 percent buyer’s premium.
