Two Cabinet room chairs from the Kennedy Administration, with an autograph letter of presentation signed by Jacqueline Kennedy, sold for $146,500 at a sale of items from the estate of Robert McNamara held Oct. 23 by Sotheby’s in New York. Also, a Cuban missile crisis calendar paperweight, presented to Secretary McNamara by President Kennedy, went for $95,500; and a 1978 print of a 1944 Ansel Adams photograph titled Clearing Winter Storm, Yosemite National Park, Calif., made $53,125. Prices include a 20 percent buyer’s premium.
