A Frederick Hurten Rhead (Am./U.K., 1880-1942) peacock tile panel (University City, Mo.), sold for $637,500 at a 20th/21st Century Design and Arts & Crafts Movement Auction held Oct. 26-28 by Rago Arts & Auction Center in Lambertville, N.J. Also, a Tiffany Studios rare tall floriform vase fetched $100,000; a Wharton Esherick double pedestal desk realized $62,500; a George Nakashima fine Minguren II coffee table brought $53,125; and a Tiffany Studios favrile vase changed hands for $10,625. Prices include a 25 percent buyer’s premium.
