On Friday, May 17th, Brimfield Auction acres in Brimfield, MA, took its place on The National Register of Historic Places as the birthplace and originator of the World Famous “Brimfield Antique Shows” with an unveiling ceremony that also marked the start of the Show’s 65th season. Brimfield Auction Acres is now one of more than one of over 2,600 historic buildings, sites, structures, objects, and districts in the U.S. today, each representing an outstanding aspect of American history and culture. It is a visible sign and reminder for all that pass that history lives here and is worth preserving.
