Ken’s Korner: McJordan BBQ sauce sells on eBay for $10K

A 20-year-old container of McJordan barbecue sauce – used to put on McJordan Burgers by McDonald’s as a brief promotion in the 1990s, honoring basketball legend Michael Jordan – has sold on eBay to an anonymous buyer for $9,995. The seller was Mort Bank, of Bismarck, N.D., who used to own two McDonald’s restaurants in North Dakota. He sold the restaurants in 1996 but saved one of the one-gallon jugs of McJordan’s sauce in his basement. Bank has sold other McDonald’s collectibles on eBay, but none for nearly as much.
