Gavels 'n' Paddles: Nazi physician’s Mercedes, $42,000, Milestone Auctions

The 1936 Mercedes-Benz 170V 2-door coupe owned by Nazi SA physician Dr. Rudolf Beuring, in excellent running order, sold for $42,000 at a Historic Military & Firearms Auction held January 27th by Milestone Auctions in Willoughby, Ohio. Also, a grouping of Native American artifacts dug in Lake County, Ohio in the 1890s, to include a large 8 ½ inch pop-eyed birdstone, fetched $18,600; and a Nazi infantry battalion standarte, 50 inches by 50 inches, rose to $16,200. Prices include a 20 percent buyer’s premium.
