A Colt Model 1883 U.S. Navy Gatling Gun on a tripod with two drums sold for a combined $346,150 at a Firearms Auction held March 11-13 by Poulin Auction Company and March 14-15 by James D. Julia, Inc., both in Fairfield, Me. Also, a cased Colt No. 5 holster model Texas Paterson percussion revolver rang out at $345,000; a “Sisterdale Texas” dragoon Army revolver hit the mark for $253,000; and a four bore Holland & Holland hammer double rifle, made for the Nizam of Hyderabad, hit $258,750. Prices include a 15 percent buyer’s premium.
